Why Religion doesn’t Matter
Religion is an inanimate object with a subjective culture, that is passed on from generation to generation. We are constantly bombarded with other belief systems and the reasons why we should respect the beliefs that other people outside ourselves have. It is one thing to have respect for your fellow people regardless of the things that they have, such as an objective culture based on race, creed, the color of skin, education and financial status, gender, and weight.
The tangible reality of someone’s body, color, race, and gender should never be discriminated against. Also, the fact you see these people every day should give you a sense of “how would I feel if I was discriminate for what I was born with”. Unfortunately, a percentage of people don’t think about that on an analytical, if they did we wouldn’t have people in organizations that have the arrogance to look at someone and say “well I’m better than them”. These organizations are in fact compounded by their religious “conviction”. Religious organizations such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and all other organizations that believe in some kind of “higher power”, were all created by humans and taught by humans that are the same as you and me.
This is why religion is useless, it offers no benefit unless you want to control a people's actions and thought processes, it doesn’t pay any bills, it doesn’t plant any fruits or vegetables, you can’t take the belief you have with you when you breathe your last breath. Also, it was no power unless a human gets behind it and gives it power such as a weapon. When no one picks up a gun, load it with bullets, aim and fire at someone, then in reality guns really don’t kill people, when you leave the knife in the drawer it can’t stab anybody. Religion takes actions that people commit out of their hands and puts it in the hands of beings that only exist in their heads.
